Our Stories
AMC affects children all over the world, here are some stories from our brave friends.
Reece
Ashburn, VA
Reece was born with a rare congenital joint condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC or Arthrogryposis) which occurs in two or more areas of the body. Although this condition affects her ability to use her arms and legs, Reece strives daily to overcome obstacles most children will never experience.
Brody
Frederick, MD
Brody's smile lights up a room. Before he was born, doctor's noticed that Brody's hands and feet were clubbed and there was no movement. After months of waiting, his parents learned of his condition. Fortunately, the doctors at Shriners Hospital were optimistic that although he would require major surgeries just to walk, his future ahead would be a bright one.
Layel
